Howdi partners!
Well, I got here in one piece. Not being able to speak a word of Spanish Is absolutely hilarious. I´m sure I´ve been conned out of literally, pennies!Such easy simple folk to please!
So being English, the first place I headed for was the English Cafe (naturally) for some food I recognise. The ecuardorians are not big on veggie food. Or any food. they are all so skinny!
Good news is though, that that beer is cheaper than Coca cola, so guess what I´ve been doing since I got here.... ahhh, just realised that they don´t have a question mark.... bugger!
Oh, just found it... ? yep, it works. Oh familiarity. I love it.
Dunno what else to write yet, as we have done bugger all except eat and drink. Although we did almost die on the bus going round very tight bends at about 4 G´s on cliff face hills. all a bit of fun!
Anyway, better go, I´m being badgered by Claire, though she just said thats mean of me. I´m sorry. Better get off to one of the 4000 catholic churches in this town to repent....
Adios
Stu...and Claire!
